John Paul Stapp (1910-1999), American medical doctor. Took part in 'the deceleration project'. Dr. Stapp was born in Bahai, Brazil, to missionary parents. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Baylor University; a doctorate from the University of Texas; and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota.
