Mascot

Carson High School's mascot is the Senator, indicative of Carson City being the capital of Nevada. Currently the mascot is seen to have one side of his mouth open, without a cigar. This is because the Senator previously had a cigar in his mouth, however the cigar has been removed, per the anti-smoking movement, which has led to a perpetual scowl on the face of the Senator.
