Hello, it's nonsense when you say "the fighters mixed Doriot up with a german soldier, because he wore a german uniform", or sth. like that. Do you really believe it's possible to recognize that details while flying by in an airplane with, say, 200 mph. Allied fighter-bombers attacked communication lines deep in germany. They had very few seconds or fractures of seconds to take an aim (like trains or lorries) and to hit it. No chance to recognize details of the passengers of car - it was not that easy to strike such a small target! Thanks, WernerE, 08/9/2005.
