I though the Sheffield and Eccleshall Co-op were taken over by/merged with West Yorkshire Co-op to become Yorkshire Co-op (with it's Sunwin brand, allowing Brightside and Carbrook Co-op to rebrand themselves as Sheffield Co-operative society. Certainly our local S&E grocery stores became Yorkshire Co-op and of the city centre department stores, S&E became Sunwin House, while the B&C's became SCS.
