Lynn S. Adelman (born October 1, 1939) was a United States federal judge.
Adelman was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received a A.B. from Princeton University in 1961. He received a LL.B. from Columbia Law School in 1965. He was a Research assistant, Columbia University Law School from 1965 to 1966. He was a Law clerk for the attorney Richard H. Kuh in 1966. He was a Trial attorney of Legal Aid Society of Wisconsin from 1967 to 1968. He was in private practice of law in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1968 to the present. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate from 1977 to 1997.[1]
Adelman was a federal judge to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Adelman was nominated by President William J. Clinton on September 8, 1997, to a seat vacated by Thomas J. Curran. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on November 13, 1997, and received commission on December 23, 1997.
