The Chinese university ranking by the Chinese Academy of Management Science is probably one of the most popular or well-kown university rankings in People's Republic of China. It's published annually (normally in January in recent years) and covers universities in mainland China. It's also the earliest large-scale university ranking in China.
Introduction
The Chinese Academy of Management Science[1], Chinese Academy of Social Sciences constantly ranks universities in mainland China in many aspects/fields, including the general ranking, rankings of engineering, natural sciences, medicine, social sciences, law, philosophy, management, etc. This annual ranking is widely regarded as one of the standard university rankings in China, which reflects the quality of Chinese universities.

- China University of Petroleum has two branches: One in Beijing and the other one in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The Qingdao branch is ranked among Top 100 (no. 83).
- China University of Geosciences also has two branches: One in Beijing and the other one in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Both branches are ranked among Top 100 (Wuhan no. 72 and Beijing no. 88).
