The Federal Ministry of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture is a ministry in Germany. Its headquarters are located in Bonn with a second major office in Berlin. It was created on January 22, 2001 from the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forests (Bundesministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Forsten) through an orgaizational order by the Chancellor. Consumer protection was transferred from the Federal Ministry of Health (Bundesministerium für Gesundheit).
