==Raising Arizona page==
Sorry for being such a lout about this article in the past. I had been preparing to do some research on the supposed influences on the film and thematic motifs, and then you (I believe justifiably) deleted the unsourced material. For some reason it got under my skin, and I have to say I apologize for reverts and smarmy edits of your work on that article.

You really do do good work around here. :) [[User:Artemisstrong|Artemisstrong]] ([[User talk:Artemisstrong|talk]]) 04:23, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Opeth's Blackwater Park rating

if you look on the front page you will notice that all the reviews are featured by a star rating. once you click on the review it goes into a number based division. it still is a star based system, 10 different ratings by 5 soild numbers and a .5 division factor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.115.156.240 (talk) 20:41, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

also IF you are indeed right and prove me wrong, then the wiki page on sputnikmusic needs to be changed too: "Sputnikmusic operates a simple 5-star rating system, starting at 1, that allows .5 intervals. As a guide to new reviewers, each of these values is assigned a word, ranging from 'Awful' (1.0) to 'Classic' (5.0)." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.115.156.240 (talk) 20:53, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

well im not trying to be rude. i apologize if i seemed so, but the site does indeed use a star rating, even if it is not shown on the review page itself. it divides it up so it is more user-friendly on their opinions of what a 3.5 rating is, etc. i do agree with your idea, to show the rating as it is on the review. however you should also look into the actual websites ideals on how they break it down, otherwise you could be putting wrong information. i see this isnt the case however, we seem to simply be disagreeing about the nature of whether a star rating should be present or not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.115.156.240 (talk) 21:11, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request

Hiya, was reading your Eno articles (good job) and saw you'd used the Spin guide book. Any chance you could have a look to see if they've got reviews for Remain in Light and Fear of Music in there and what they gave them out of 10. I'd appreciate the help. Cheers. RB88 (T) 19:35, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, talk about thorough! Thanks a lot. Also, when I'm done with Talking Heads, I wouldn't mind getting some Eno ones to FA (esp Before and After Science) if you're up for it. RB88 (T) 20:04, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair-use images

Hi, File:2000adposter.jpg, File:Damneddamneddamned30.jpg, File:Xmenlaststandsndtrk.jpg are nominated for deletion. Regards Hekerui (talk) 15:19, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for Spin information on Suede, i may use some of it for future edits. I did some expansion to the Coming Up and Head Music articles, i hope you like them.PhilOak (talk) 12:36, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Planet Rock

As I stated in the talk page, keep the reviews in the critical reception section. You should be looking for interviews and such for details about the music. Compare the musical style section of Trans Europe Express to that at Loveless, where tons of concrete information is available on how the the music was created. WesleyDodds (talk) 11:00, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, unless the Spin Alternative Record Guide review cited is a reprint from the magazine, you shouldn't note it in the infobox as being published as part of the monthly publication, for this is misleading. WesleyDodds (talk) 11:05, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trans-Europe Express

Hey, sorry I can't be more of use. Crazy busy these days. From what I gather, the other guy is mistaken about Allmusic. Point him to WP:ALBUMS. As far as I know, page numbers are not that essential at GA, but you will be picked on at FA. And for musical style, interviews and books are needed instead of critics. You can use a sentence or two but not to form the whole thing. It's probably better to stick a small section in the recording bit if you can't find much interview detail from the creators. Good job overall though. RB88 (T) 19:12, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your message, I am well aware of the rules; the page had already been that way for quite some time, before you started tampering with it. The labels listed are the original labels for each territory, and are the same for the other Kraftwerk album articles as well. Leave it, or I will report vandalism. WP:FILMS' Tag & Assess Drive and Roll Call

Black comedy wording vs. dark comedy wording

Hello, Andrzejbanas. I do not completely understand your reason for this change to the Jennifer's Body article. Why is it important to you that it say black comedy instead of dark comedy? They are synonyms of each other, after all. Plenty of critics have called Jennifer's Body a dark comedy, including the critic whose comment you altered. Plus, not all Wikipedia articles go with the more common name for the title of articles. When this happens, people sometimes link to an article in a pipelinked fashion to present the more common name instead. Or they pipelink that way because they prefer the or one of the synonyms for the word instead.

I left your change to the lead as is, but I changed your alteration of the critic's comment back. We should not alter quotes unless the altering is just a style thing, or is done for another really valid reason...along with making it clear that the original wording has been altered. For example, if it means that much to you that the critic say "black" instead of "dark," then we would present it this way: [black] comedy. Flyer22 (talk) 21:45, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As I stated on my talk page: You are right that it is not part of the quote (because I took it out of the quote). LOL, it is I who should check better next time. Thank you for explaining your reasons about the other stuff and that. Flyer22 (talk) 22:21, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So I see you've found my secret weapon! By all means, help yourself. I've been super busy for the past month or so, so my Wiki contributions have pretty much dropped to zero. I was planning on getting back around to it eventually, but an extra hand would be great. So go for it! Drewcifer (talk) 00:39, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: HG Clouzot

No problem, I'm looking forward to it. At a glance, the article looks great, I'm confident it will pass the GAN. I've started my GAN review, and will try to finish it as quickly as I can. I'll keep in mind what you said about the sources, too. — Hunter Kahn (c) 06:48, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • No problem about the responses. I have placed a few more suggestions at the GAN site. I'll try to finish the whole review by the end of the week. — Hunter Kahn (c) 07:57, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hey, I really appreciate your patience in working through the GA items I've identified. I wanted to let you know I've struck almost everything by now. It seems all that's left are the items about Raoul Levy, the five television documentaries, the La Prisonniere/L'Enfer thing, and Krasnoludek's question about Inès de Gonzalez. Once those are done, I think we're ready! — Hunter Kahn (c) 02:22, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats!

I've passed Henri-Georges Clouzot as a GA! Congrats, and thanks again for your patience and hard work! I'm not sure if you're planning to see this through as for a featured article nomination someday. If you decide to do so (and I'd encourage it!) I left you some advice on the GA review page that I'd urge you to look at and consider. Also, I wanted to make this offer to you: if you were willing to make stubs or start-class articles about all the subjects that are redlinked in the Clouzot page, I would give you a barnstar for the effort. :) Congrats again! — Hunter Kahn (c) 22:04, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great job on the Clouzot article! -Krasnoludek (talk) 22:54, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and if you need another eye/help on the White Zombie article, I've actually seen that movie so I might be more assistance there than I was with Clouzot (I know, I know, I really need to see his movies!). -Krasnoludek (talk) 22:56, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Wow, it seems like this LittleMissWikipoo situation was quite a mess! lol. After doing some research here, it appears that LittleMissWikipoo indeed has been banned for creating multiple accounts, leaving your GAN in limbo. As such, I've decided to take over the review myself (meaning I'm not reviewing the Mabuse movie for now). I made a post over at the GAN discussing how I'm going to handle the review... — Hunter Kahn (c) 05:20, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of adventure films of the 1990s. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Q T C 21:48, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Vanishing saskia.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Vanishing saskia.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hey Andrzejbanas. I see it's been almost two weeks with no movement at the White Zombie GAN. Do you still need more time because you can start working on that one? Perhaps we should fail it for now, but since the GAN review comments will still be intact, you can address them at your own pace and renominate it for GA in a few weeks or months? If you go that route, I'll obviously be willing to review it again when you renominate it. Or we could leave it on hold for a while longer, but I don't think it's best to have it lingering for too long. Let me know... — Hunter Kahn 23:16, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • No problem. I hope you understand that I'm not trying to bully or pester you or anything. It's just that the GAN backlog is growing every day. lol. Another week is not a problem at all. — Hunter Kahn 04:08, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request

Hey, hope you had a good holiday. Could you do me a favour and message me what Spin wrote about Fleetwood Mac's Rumours? It's a near-future FAC. Cheers. PRB88 (T) 13:25, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's alright. Managed to find 10 after all. Thanks anyways. Have you got any albums you particularly want to get to FA? PRB88 (T) 18:59, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats! That's a pass! — Hunter Kahn 22:42, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Raising Arizona page

Sorry for being such a lout about this article in the past. I had been preparing to do some research on the supposed influences on the film and thematic motifs, and then you (I believe justifiably) deleted the unsourced material. For some reason it got under my skin, and I have to say I apologize for reverts and smarmy edits of your work on that article.

You really do do good work around here. :) Artemisstrong (talk) 04:23, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
