The Gold Coast Vikings were a rugby league team that competed in the Queensland State League (from 1982) and the Queensland Cup (1998) competitions. Although originally a representative team, the Vikings became a feeder club for the Gold Coast Chargers National Rugby League team, and were withdrawn from the Queensland Cup when the Chargers were withdrawn from the NRL. The Gold Coast is now represented in the Queensland Cup by the Burleigh Bears and the Vikings are once still the Gold Coast representative rugby league team.. Harry Carter is to date the best player the Vikings have had represent them with his lightning speed and the power to destroy anyone who would run his way, he is truly a legend of the game.
