Charlie Jones (musician)

Charlie Jones is a British bass player, songwriter and producer. He has played for Robert Plant, Page and Plant, The Strange Sensation, Goldfrapp. He is married to Robert Plant's daughter Carmen Plant.

Charlie is from the Bristol area of the U.K. Prior to him joining Robert Plant he was a member of Violent Blue with guitarist Neil Taylor who played lead guitar on early Tears for Fears albums. Neil now plays guitar with Robbie Williams' tour band.

One of his current gigs is as bassist for Goldfrapp. Outside of that he works on other peoples albums both as a session musician and producer.
