Template:Infobox UAE community Al Garhoud (Arabic: القرهود, al-qarhūd) is a commercial and residential locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Al Garhoud is close to Dubai International Airport and therefore preferred by Emirates Airline airline pilots as a living place.[citation needed] The Emirates Aviation College can also be found in Al Garhoud.

Close to many pubs and clubs including the Aviation Club which houses 'The Irish Village' a must see for all tourists and expats alike. A mock Irish pub, built by the Irish pub company and managed by the Dubai Duty Free Company, it boasts a fine International Menu and Dubai's biggest beer garden.

Other attractions nearby include Deira City Centre as well as a Le Meridien Hotel which is home to the Dubliner Bar and various restaurants and an Al Bustan Hotel.

The roads around Al Garhoud are notorious for their traffic and part of which is caused by the Al Garhoud Bridge.

Expats generally leave out the 'Al' part of Al Garhoud and call it Garhoud.

The Emirates Airline/Emirates Group head office is in Garhoud. Daallo Airlines has its head office in the airport Free Zone.[1]
