Menzelinsky District (Russian: Мензелинский райо́н; Tatar: Минзәлә районы) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Its administrative center is the town of Menzelinsk. District's population: 31,295 (2002 Census);[2] 30,517 (1989 Soviet census).[4] Population of Menzelinsk accounts for 53.5% of the district's population.
