I have to add, to my interpretation most "common name used" refers to name the person can use such as maiden name, married name or nickname. Since she's not anymore married to Sean Penn, she won't use Penn in her name. She could use a nickname or her real name, but she won't be able to use her married name in the future... Unless it's legal to do so, even if you're divorced, which I doubt but have to verify... We can just wait to see what will happen and what name she will use in her work...--Patlalrique (talk) 17:27, 30 August 2010 (UTC) |

Robin is now using the name "Robin Wright" in her professional capacity as an actress. It won't be long before "Robin Wright" becomes her most commonly used name.--Stonnman 13:15, 5 October 2010 |

Twenty years?
Has RWP really been involved with Sean Penn for over twenty years? "Over twenty years" ago would be at least 1986, which would have been while Sean Penn was still married to Madonna. — Charity (talk) 07:01, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Pictures please!
Free images would be best as we could actually add that to the infobox and make the article really pretty :D--Kushalt 11:55, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Name
Robin has officially gone back to using just her maiden name http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/11/17/2009-11-17_robin_wright_incognito_at_the_private_lives_of_pippa_lee_screening.html et al. 67.82.241.239 (talk) 22:16, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- That's logical, since she is now separated. Their divorce hasn't been finalized, has it ? I guess she is still legally Robin Wright Penn for the moment but won't be using that name again. Do you think the article should be renamed as just Robin Wright ? Jean-Jacques Georges (talk) 11:18, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- I would say yes, since she is apparently credited as 'Robin Wright' in recent movies. Noel (talk) 00:07, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
- How do we change the title of the article so it just says 'Robing Wright?' I'm not up on all this html jargon =P Myownworst (talk) 23:45, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- The title should not be changed, since she is still best known as Robin Wright Penn. Wikipedia policy is that the article should use the most common name (WP:COMMONNAME). See also Cat Stevens and Terrence Trent D'Arby for examples on how articles use the most commonly known name of persons, although they changed their names.
