Dahshat is a 1981 Bollywood horror film directed by Shyam Ramsay & Tulsi Ramsay.

The plot revolved around a mad scientist who turns into a blood thirsty monster at night as result of an experiment that goes wrong when his wife injects him with a fatal chemical. The film featured Om Shivpuri as the Scientist & Nadira as the wife. It also featured Navin Nischol, Sarika, Narendranath, Rajindernath, Chand Usmani, Kajal Kiran, Dev Kumar, Bharat Bhushan & Jayshree T.

The Music was composed by Bappi Lahiri & it had pop songs sung by Bappi himself along with Asha Bhosle & Sulakshana Pandit.
