Music Department
- The Marching Band qualified for OMEA State Marching Band Finals in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
- The Concert Band received a Superior rating at State Concert Band Contest in 1961, 2008, 2009, 2010.
- During the 2008-2009 school year, Liberty Union was the only small band in Central and Southern Ohio to be rated Superior at the State level in both marching band and concert band.
