The 2011 Hockey East Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was be played between March 11 and March 19, 2011 at campus locations and at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston College Eagles won their 10th Hockey East Tournament and earned the Hockey East's automatic bid into in the 2011 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

Format

The tournament features three rounds of play. The first round consists of best-of-three series, all games being hosted by the higher-seeded teams. In the semifinals, the highest remaining seed is matched against the lowest remaining seed. The semifinals and final are single games. The tournament champion Boston College Eagles receive the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
