Klushino (Russian: Клушино) is a village in Smolensk Oblast, Russia, situated on the old road between Vyazma and Mozhaysk, not far from Gzhatsk.
It was the site of a major battle in the Russo-Polish War (1605-1618). The village is also known as the birthplace of Yuri Gagarin, the first man to be launched in space. There is a Gagarin museum devoted to Gagarin and his family.
