The '''2011 Cape Cod Baseball League Season''' was the 49th season of the [[Cape Cod Baseball League|Cape Cod Baseball League's]] Modern Era. The regular season began on Friday, June 10 and concluded on Wednesday, August 3rd. The [[Cotuit Kettleers]], who had won the League Championship in 2010, missed the playoffs for the first time since 2007. The Kettleers finished in fifth place in the Western Division, while the 2010 runner-up, the [[Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox]], finished fourth in the Eastern Division, qualifying for the last playoff spot in the division.


No changes were made to the playoff format, as the top four teams from each division qualified for the playoffs. This format was used beginning in the 2010 season.

2011 Cape Cod Baseball League Season

The 2011 Cape Cod Baseball League Season was the 49th season of the Cape Cod Baseball League's Modern Era. The regular season began on Friday, June 10 and concluded on Wednesday, August 3rd. The Cotuit Kettleers, who had won the League Championship in 2010, missed the playoffs for the first time since 2007. The Kettleers finished in fifth place in the Western Division, while the 2010 runner-up, the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, finished fourth in the Eastern Division, qualifying for the last playoff spot in the division.
