His former club Slovan Bratislava expressed an interest in Hreus and Mshk Žilina released him until 30th April (along with defender Dalibor Kusovský). During this time Hreus won his third championship.

Michal Hreus (born March 9, 1973) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player who played with HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga.[1] As a junior, he played for Sparta Prague. He was also an active player in a few German teams (Mannheim and Krefeld). He returned to Slovakia in 1998/99 and played in the Slovak Extraliga in Skalica.
