The Estonian People's Party (Estonian: Eesti Rahvaerakond, ER) was a centre-right political party in Estonia. Its predecessor, the Estonian Popular Progress Party (Estonian: Eesti Rahvameelne Eduerakond, ERE) was founded by Jaan Tõnisson in 1905 as one of the first Estonian political parties. After the Revolution of 1905, it remained the only legal political party in Estonia until 1917, when the party was renamed Estonian Democratic Party (Estonian: Eesti Demokraatlik Erakond, EDE). The Estonian People's Party was officially founded in 1919 and remained an active coalition party until 1932, when it merged with other centrist parties to form the National Centre Party.
