Victor Ivanovich Dorkin (born Oct 3, 1953; killed at night on Mar 31, 2006). Married. Two children.

Grown up in Novodevichinskiy sovkhoz in Shigonskiy district of Kuiybishev region of Russia

Higher education - 1970 to 1976 in Kuiybishev Politechnic school. Specialization - chemical production engineer.

On graduation received an assignment to Lyuberetskiy scientific & research institute of chemical technology. Worked hard, from engineer to senior research officer and deputy chief of the 142-th laboratory.

Won the 1990-th election for the chairman of the Dzerzhinskiy city council. In 1991 became the Head of the local government board of Dzerzhinskiy. In 1996 elected as a City Mayor. In 1999 elected as the Head of the local government board of Dzerzhinskiy again.
