Mashta Al-Helou (Arabic: مشتى الحلو, also known as Mashta Al-Helu or Mashta Al-Helo) is a Syrian town-resort, located in a picturesque area amid the An-Nusayriyah Mountains, the Syrian coastal mountain range. It is the centre of Mashta Al-Helou sub-district (nahiyah) of the Safita District within the Tartous Governorate. It is approximately 233 km north of the capital Damascus and 45 km from the governorate centre Tartous.
The town has an elevation of 465 meters above sea level. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 2,458.[1]
