Attaloss is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, currently signed to Rock Ridge Music.[1]
History
Attaloss was formed in 2010 in Los Angeles, California. After recording a couple of demos, Attaloss toured the west coast, and continued to SXSW. With the momentum from their demos, and some tour dates under their belt, Attaloss headed into the studio with producer Erik Ron to record the band's first full length album. Shortly after the band's self titled album was recorded, they had peaked the interest of Rock Ridge Music. Attaloss signed with Rock Ridge in January 2012. The band released their self-titled album on April 10, 2012,[2] and first week sales have pushed the release onto four Billboard charts. The album, which was released by Rock Ridge Music/Warner Music Group/ADA, hit #1 on Billboard Alternative New Artists, #5 on Billboard Heatseekers, #25 on Billboard Hard Rock Albums, and #42 on Billboard Indie chart.[3] The album also cracked the Billboard Top 200 sales chart. The first single, "Open Door" is at alternative specialty radio with airplay at WEND (Charlotte),[4] KPNT (St. Louis) and KCXX (Riverside).
