Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 is an American television series that premiered on ABC on April 11, 2012. The series follows June (Dreama Walker), as she moves to New York City to pursue her dream job, until she finds out that it no longer exists and she ends up moving in with a con-artist, party-girl named Chloe (Krysten Ritter).

As of October 23, 2012, eight episodes of Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 have aired.

Opens up with a narrative by June (Dreama Walker) about how living in New York has taught her that life is full of surprises. Chloe (Krysten Ritter) comes home to find June's fiancée Steven alone, and they proceed to fool around in the apartment. June then walks in to see then having sex on her birthday cake. June then says that her roommate sleeping with her fiancée turned out to be the best thing that happened to her. Jumps to one week earlier. After getting a job for a financial mortgage company, June excitedly moves to New York while Steven finishes up his Masters. But when the company goes under on the first day, she is out of a job. June also discovers that she can't move into her apartment because it has been seized by the government. Despite the setbacks, she remains adamant that everything is going to be okay. Following a series of bad apartment interviews, June meets and is instantly taken with Chloe due to her fun and charming disposition. While talking, June notices a picture of James Van Der Beek on Chloe's coffee table. Chloe explains that she and James dated, but were now great friends. June decides that she wants to move in, and puts all of the money left in her bank account down for rent. While waiting for the elevator, Chloe's neighbor Robin warns June to " don't trust the bitch in Apartment 23 ". June moves in with the cunning Chloe, and lives across the street from the perverted Eli who masturbates while their talking. Robin's warning turns out to be good advice, as Chloe tries to drive June crazy in order to her scam out of her rent money. June retaliates by selling all of Chloe's stuff, but then has to get her ottoman back (because it has energy pills sewed into it). When Steven finally arrives for June's birthday, Chloe is instantly suspicious of Steven's "nurse" Nicole. So she get's his thirteen year-old case study Jeremy drunk, and finds out that Steven is cheating on June with multiple women. Chloe tries to tell June, but she automatically thinks it's a ploy to get her to leave the apartment. That leads to decision to seducing Steven. After getting caught, Chloe explains to June that she only did it to prove her fiancée was a cheater, and get's validated by Nicole who admits to sleeping with him. June is sad, but she thanks Chloe from helping her see the truth about Steven before she might have married him. They bond over it, and discover the beginning of an unusual friendship.

Season 2 (2012)

On May 11, 2012, ABC renewed Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 for a second season.[1] The episode order is unknown, however, the remaining six episodes of season one are going to air as a part of season two.[10] Ray Ford, who plays Luther, has been promoted to a series regular for season two, while Liza Lapira has been demoted to a recurring role.[11] Busy Philipps, who co-starred in Dawson's Creek with James Van Der Beek, will guest star as a fictionalized version of herself.[12]
