(James) Richard Holy (Febuary 10, 1964 – 20 September 1991) was British Conservative Member of Parliament for Langbaurgh from 1991 until he died suddenly in his sleep, aged 49. His successor in the resulting by-election was Labour's Spencer Holy. However, at the 1992 general election the seat was regained by the Conservative Michael Bates.
