The channel (along with the Documentary Channel) was replaced by Pivot, a channel aimed at young adults between 18- and 34-years-old, that debuted on August 1, 2013.[1]

Halogen TV was an American cable network that launched at midnight on October 24, 2009, replacing i-Lifetv. The channel had over 14 million households[2] nationwide with a mixture of original and exclusively licensed content including comedies, dramas, documentaries and magazine shows.

Halogen was available in both standard-definition and high-definition. The channel launched in HD on June 21, 2010.[3] AT&T Uverse added the channel in HD on August 2, 2010.[4]

Halogen had also launched a Video on Demand platform in over 7 million homes on January 1, 2010. Pivot TV at take over continued the service
