A couple of times at [[Ford Motor Company]] you have changed <nowiki>{{USD|134.3 billion}}</nowiki> to <nowiki>[[United States dollar|US$]] 134.3 billion </nowiki> . Since they look nearly identical and both can have the link turned on or off, I'm at a bit of a loss why you spent the time to change it. Is there something wrong with {{tlx|USD}}? <span style="border:1px solid blue;border-radius:5px;color:blue">[[User:Stepho-wrs|'''&nbsp;Stepho&nbsp;''']]&nbsp;<span style="font-size:xx-small; vertical-align:top">[[User Talk:Stepho-wrs|talk]]&nbsp;</span></span> 06:10, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

: To my knowledge, when a letter is used with the dollar sign to signify which type of dollar is being referred to (US$ or C$), there is supposed to be a space between the symbol and the number. Don't know if that's a hard rule or just common to improve legibility; it's just how I've always seen it done, but I could be completely wrong. The template used doesn't allow for a space (or at least, I don't know how to use the template with a space). No harm intended. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, Idaltu. More power to the mouse! Since 2003 I've been hovering my mouse over these maps hoping they were clickable. I knew I wasn't alone. PhnomPencil (talk) 10:59, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats!

The United Nations Barnstar of National Merit
Presented to Idaltu for his work on pages related to Liberia, a section of Wikipedia still in its infancy but growing, largely thanks to Idaltu's work. Congrats! PhnomPencil (talk) 15:43, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that was both unexpected and appreciated! Thanks, PhnomPencil! —Idaltu (talk) 01:21, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see you updated the spelling, do you have a source? The two sources in the article list it as two words, and both are published by the government. I know finding sources for Liberia can be tough, but I haven't seen anything official with it as one word. Aboutmovies (talk) 07:52, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake. I was going to cite my source after changing all of the links on other pages, but it slipped my mind. The source has been added on the Rivercess County page. The government's been pretty inconsistent on the spelling of the county, but I found a link to the law creating the county which has it spelled as one word, so I figured that was authoritative enough. Cheers! Idaltu (talk) 08:09, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks. Now hopefully the government will get it right. Aboutmovies (talk) 06:47, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Defaultsort

Hi, I noticed that in some of the biography pages that you created, you left the "defaultsort" and sometimes the "persondata" filled in with the name from another page that you were partly copying. The "defaultsort" parameter is used to sort the page into alphabetical order on category pages, e.g. Category:Vice-Presidents of Liberia. I fixed Alex J. Tyler, Anthony D. Williams (politician), James Skivring Smith, Jr., Joseph D. Summerville and John Day (judge). Please check if there are any others where you might have overlooked the same thing. Keep up the good work! – Fayenatic London 12:59, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
