The Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs is an Australian government department. It's role is to develop social policies and support affecting Australian society and the living standards of Australian families. The Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs runs the Office of Indigenous Policy Coordination. The department offers benefits and/or programs for the following:
- families and children
- young people and students
- people with disabilities
- carers
- the aged
- people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander people
