This [[Riding (division)|riding]] was created in 1966 from parts of [[Coast—Capilano]] riding.

It was abolished in 1987 when it was redistributed into [[Capilano—Howe Sound]] and [[North Vancouver (electoral district)|North Vancouver]] ridings.
