Peter Pontiac (born Peter J.G. Pollmann, 28 April 1951 - 20 January 2015) is a Dutch cartoonist. He is the winner of the 1997 Stripschapprijs.[1] Peter Pontiac passed away on 20 January 2015. [2] He suffered from a sever liver disease.

He was working on a new graphic novel (STYX of de zesplankenkoorts) about his disease and awaiting death. [3] He got money for this project through crowed funding [4]. But unfortunately he did not finish this project due to his early death.

Lettering

For Oog & Blik he did the lettering of the Dutch editions of Art Spiegelmans Maus en Robert Crumbs Kafka.
