Mette Grøtteland was the first female F-16 fighter pilot in 1992, and went under the name "Jet Mette". Later she flew [[Boeing 737]] civilian. In 2006 she converted to the helicopter and returned to the Air Force in 2007 as a helicopter pilot in Sea King by 330 squadron at Sola.
