Fred Allandale (4 July 1872 - 23 December 1921) was a British musical comedy actor, comedian and producer.

His first stage appearance was at the Theatre Royal Lincoln on 7 Februrary 1898, playing Lieut Cuningham in The Geisha. On 28 August 1905 he played Bobbie Scott in The Blue Moon at the Lyric Theatre. He toured with the comedy sketch The Soldier and the Girl. He also produced his own Pierrot Company in Blackpool.

Personal life

Allandale was born in London in 1872, the son of Alfred Arnold and his wife Sophia Hudson. He was the grandson of the Irish comedian James Hudson. He was educated at Christ's Hospital and formerly engaged as an accountant. His second wife was the musical comedy actress Maie Ash. Allandale died in 1921 in Birmingham and was buried in Abney Park Cemetery.

His grave was restored on 29 July 2016 by The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America.[1]
