Democrazia e Autonomia (DemA) is a Neapolitan party, founded by Luigi de Magistris, mayor of Naples.
History
DemA was launched as an association in 2015[1]. In 2016 DemA took part to the local elections in Naples, in support of Luigi de Magistris, mayor of Naples since 2011, with a large coalition composed by:
- Naples in Common to the Left (an electoral list launched by SI, Possible, AET, PRC, PCI and GI);
- Federation of the Greens;
- Democratic Republicans;
- Italy of Values;
- Party of the South;
- six civic lists.
DemA obtained 7,6% of the vote and de Magistris was reappointed mayor of Naples[2]. In 2017 DemA become a party.
