Request reason:

I have abided by the standard offer for over 11 months. During my time blocked, I have contributed to the Simple English Wikipedia. What I did was completely immature and out of order and I sincerely apologise for the bad things I have done. I wish to re-enter this community and become a productive member. If I am unblocked, I will definitely try my best to create positive contributions to this website, and I certainly will not vandalise or use secondary accounts again. I had watchlisted the page so I would be aware of any unblock requests Wackslas might make. I object to an unblock. He has been an extremely disruptive presence on IRC, heavily trolling the #wikipedia-en-help channel. That wasn't just incompetence or inexperience but malice. Someone who goes out of his way to make offering editing help for Wikipedia more difficult has no place on the project. Huon (talk) 00:10, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

Of course, I apologise for the trolling on IRC. I stayed away from the chat for 11 months and only recently went back just to try and direct some admins to my unblock request. Yes, the intentional disruption was wrong and I regret doing it. However, I believe that I've made up for those actions by doing what virtually all the admins there were telling me to which was to stop trolling and stay off the chat and Wikipedia for at least 6 months. And yes, I know admins aren't obliged to unblock me just because I did the standard offer but at this point that's really all I can do. Wackslas - Holler at me (talk) 16:12, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

Comment from uninvolved admin - I haven't come across Wackslas before, and haven't investigated the reason for his block. However I have looked at his contributions on Simple Wiki - most of them seem to be delinking red links, till he was asked not to, and changing piped links. The only content building I've found is a stub article, simple:The Life of Pablo. Notwithstanding Huon's comment above, I would be inclined to decline this request unless Wackslas can give some postive indication of how he exactly he intends to improve Wikipedia. A vague promise to "create positive contributions" is not enough, in my opinion. Optimist on the run (talk) 10:54, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

Firstly, I removed those dead links with good intentions. I wasn't trying to vandalise or anything and I didn't know that they wanted them kept there (which I guess is my fault). And, when I say "positive contributions" I'm talking about editing and/or creating articles. I doubt I would be much use in departments such as article deletion and voting on admins.
