I heard there was a recusal by the judge on the grounds of a relative or someone close to the judge having been hired by Robert Mueller. I trust my source but have yet to see any public domain corroboration. Supposedly, this is why nothing happened on 04. August 2017. If anyone has seen any back-up on this that passes muster under Wikipedia guidelines, he or she might update this article. --[[User:Achim Hering|Achim Hering]] ([[User talk:Achim Hering|talk]]) 02:32, 10 August 2017 (UTC) |

Category "Non-state actors" added by User:The$park
What's the purpose of a new category Category:Non-State_Actors ? Is it meant to be a sub-category of Category:Donald Trump litigation ? 2001:4998:EFFD:519:54AD:F184:595A:2C42 (talk) 23:02, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- I'm fairly confident that this new user (The$park) who only makes changes via mobile app is contributing nothing but noise. Reverting addition of category. Dakleman (talk) 07:13, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
Wishlist for July 2017
Assuming the judge OKs the Joint motion (docket 40), nothing changes for almost six weeks. This is a dry period common to all the emoluments lawsuits. As the first-to-be-filed lawsuit, should this page have content about latter lawsuits? Do we want some sort of timeline of past and future-scheduled events for this pending lawsuit? Richard Painter has been on television often. Has he commented on this lawsuit? Other notable coverage? Dakleman (talk) 15:38, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

- No documentation of recusal for cause, appearance of bias or suggestion of one is on the docket.[1] On 2017-07-07 the former judge, Ronnie Abrams, agreed that based on personal circumstances of the DOJ lawyer that the parties' jointly-agreed schedule made more sense than the judge's initial plans. On 2017-07-11 a new judge took over. At the time, it looked like the schedule motivated the unexplained change in judges. On 2017-08-04 the plaintiffs filed a response to the DOJ motion to dismiss. The first hearing scheduled in the case is a 2017-10-18 hearing on that motion.[2] However, on 2017-08-01, Reuters reports that the former judge's husband, Greg Andres, was hired by special counsel Robert Mueller. This in-process hiring does seem like a proximate and likely reason for a voluntary recusal three weeks earlier, but there remains only conjecture and speculation as the judge has remained mute.[3][4] Dakleman (talk) 05:36, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
