Contrepoints is a French news website, founded in 2009. The name of the newspaper is a reference to Contrepoint, a now-defunct newspaper launched by French philosopher Raymond Aron.
According to French newspaper Le Monde, Contrepoints is one of the most well-known libertarian websites in France.[1][2]
Contrepoints has been awarded a Templeton Freedom Awards by the Atlas Economic Research Foundation in 2012.[3]
