Indian population, inconsistent numbers?

Early in the article, it says there were 80,000 Indians living in Uganda in the early 1970s ("40 years ago"), but later it says 580,000 were expelled by Idi Amin as part of his "Africanization" (i.e. ethnic cleansing) of the country, from 1972 onwards. Is one or the other of these numbers wrong? At first, I thought maybe there were still 80,000 Indians left in Uganda *after* the 580,000 were expelled, but it is also mentioned that only 15,000 remained. So there seems to be something way off with the numbers here. 82.164.157.239 (talk) 16:26, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Many of the 'Indians' inside Uganda were of British nationality rather than being Indian nationals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.173.52 (talk) 13:20, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ugandan language

Swahili & English are listed under "Uganda" as official languages.

However under "Swahili" 3 countries are listed as having Swahili as their official language, though Uganda is not included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheKuch (talkcontribs) 04:32, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
