Template:Big Brother housemates Big Brother 20 is the upcoming twentieth season of the American reality television series Big Brother.[1] It is based upon the Dutch series of the same name. The season is set to premiere with a two night premiere on June 27 and June 28, 2018 on CBS in the United States.[2] Julie Chen is set to return as host.[3][4]

Production

Development

The series was announced in August 2016 as part of a double renewal for Big Brother 19 (U.S.) and Big Brother 20.[5] Along with the series the 24/7 live feeds are expected to return with a CBS All Access subscription and Big Brother: After Dark is also expected to return on Pop.[6] The season will be produced by Endemol Shine North America and Fly on the Wall Entertainment. The series is expected to have Julie Chen returning as host and Allison Grodner as well as Rich Meehan returning as Executive Producers.[7] CBS began allowing online applications in September 2017, however open casting calls did not begin until March 2018.[8][9] The HouseGuests are expected to be announced on June 18, 2018 with a CBS All Access subscription.[2] The live feeds are expected to start following the two night premiere event on June 28, 2018.[2]
