Please immediately stop. I am pondering blocking you for disruption if you continue. You do not have a significant enough grasp of the policies or their applications to make edits to any of them, and you don't understand the nuances. This is separate from the self-block you've asked for, which I currently am waiting to see how BDD replies. -- ferret (talk) 13:36, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

*ferret I’ve only made minor edits to the policies. All the minor edits you reverted were old edits. I’ve created a discussion on the talk page about the see also link. <span style="color:#9B00C3;font-family:Calibri">Tantamounts</span> <span style="color:#4169E1">talk</span> <span style="color:green">contribs</span> 13:41, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

Remake

hi interqwark. regarding Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu And Let's Go Eevee. Its Been Confirmed By The Developers. that they are Remakes of Pokemon Yellow. so Saying Its not technically a remake is invalid. i Hope you change the edit cause it is incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shizunetut (talkcontribs) 8:21, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

@Shizunetut: Hi. A remake is a game built again from the ground up. Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! are based on Pokémon Yellow but are not remakes of that game. If you disagree, please discuss on the article’s talk page instead of edit warring. Thank you. Tantamounts talk contribs 09:46, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WP:PP

This was an edit, not a "revert" and to mark it as such is just being obnoxious. I'm starting to see how you irritate so many other editors here. You are a new user, you should probably follow the advice given to you by more experienced users and stop abusing project functions. Have a nice day. - theWOLFchild 12:03, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Thewolfchild: I don’t understand. I undid your edit and added an “s” to the link in the process. I asked you about your edit on your talk page, but you removed my post and asked me not to post again. I didn’t abuse anything. You can see that my revision has the “Undo” tag. Tantamounts talk contribs 12:08, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
1) You had a question about an article, but posted it on my talk page as opposed to the article talk page, despite the clear request at the top of my page. (Too late, we're here now). 2) Your summation of my edit was incorrect, hence the reason I asked you to "look again". Apparently you didn't. 3) You did not "revert" the page to its previous version, you edited it, creating a new version. Using the revert function was therefore unnecessary. 4) Are we done now? I think we're done now... Again, have a nice day. - theWOLFchild 12:18, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Thewolfchild: It’s still reverting even if you change it in other ways. I re-added the text that you removed but, in addition, changed the link to a non-redirect link. I read your disclaimer, but I guess I misunderstood it. You just told me I was wrong instead of telling me why I was wrong. I did look again, but as far as I can tell, I didn’t get anything wrong. Tantamounts talk contribs 12:27, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"It’s still reverting even if you change it in other ways" - no, it's not. That is called an "edit". (Keep making edits, but change them as reverts and see how fast that annoys others you do it to). As already explained. You wrote; " You changed “User pages” to “Wikipedia:User page”" - which is not what I did. You also wrote that my edit "didn't make sense", when it actually did. I asked you to look again. If you can't see what you got wrong, despite it me spelling it out for you, then I can't help you any further. Now we are done. Good day. - theWOLFchild 12:43, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Thewolfchild: Help:Reverting: Reverting does not always use the undo tool. Any method of editing that has the practical effect of returning some or all of the page to a previous version counts as a reversion.
Anyway, you changed “User pages and subpages” to “Wikipedia:User pages and subpages.” I have looked many times, and I don’t see how that edit is correct in any way. If it is correct, it would certainly help if you explained it to me, rather than just telling me that it isn’t wrong, which is not helpful. Also, there’s no need to outdent a post at an indentation level of three. Tantamounts talk contribs 12:54, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
"Anyway, you changed “User pages and subpages” to “Wikipedia:User pages". Yes, because it needlessly linked to a redirect. But that is not what you wrote on my user talk page. You looked, you "can't see", I explained, you "still can't see"... so like I said, I can't help you any further. "Also, there’s no need to outdent a post at an indentation level of three.". But I did... so is it really that big of a deal?

@Thewolfchild: The thing is, you didn’t change the link so it wasn’t a redirect link. You removed the link text so that the text of the article said “Wikipedia:User pages,” which is clearly not correct. I also changed the link to the proper name of the article but was told not to. If you don't want to continue the discussion, don’t reply. Have a good day. Tantamounts talk contribs 13:23, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) One can only wonder why the sudden name change. Would've been nice if you'd either notified me or waited until this active discussion was completed. Which is now is. Good luck. - theWOLFchild 12:46, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t see how my username change affects our discussion. I also don’t understand how you were in an edit conflict. I didn’t edit the page after your first comment. Tantamounts talk contribs 12:54, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I was trying to post the above reply, and was caught in an edit conflict, because you suddenly decided to change your username. Can't imagine why that is, but don't really care either. Look, this discussion has gone as far as it needs to. I'm going to do other things now. Please stop pinging me. Ciao - theWOLFchild 13:13, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tweaking policies and guidelines

Please immediately stop. I am pondering blocking you for disruption if you continue.
