Hello, my name is Guillaume Pelletier.

I was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada. Once a medical student at the Université de Sherbrooke, Moncton satellite campus, I have also completed a Healthcare Sciences associate degree (Diplôme des Sciences de la Santé) and a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Biochemistry at Université de Moncton. I am currently finishing a Master of Science in biochemistry, focusing on the development of characterization techniques for a subtype of extracellular vesicles produced by clear-cell Renal cell carcinoma, the most common subtype of kidney cancer.

Though I have great interest in the biomedical field, I am also moderately interested in pretty much everything else: computer programming, construction, typography, graphic design, the violin and the cello, languages, humanitarian aid, politics, unicycling, mechanical engineering, sailing, software engineering, elephants, music of every genre, traveling, cooking, poetry, art...

I am a native French speaker, but I am just as fluent in English. I also speak Spanish fairly well, and I am a lifelong student of Mandarin Chinese and Arabic (working on it).

I have made a small number of meaningful contributions to articles, and I hope to become more active in the development of Wikipedia.
