Annette Eddie-Callagain is a professor of law at the University of the Ryukyus. She is the first African American lawyer to practice law in Japan. Before opening her private practice in Okinawa, Japan she was a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force. In 2007, she was inducted into the Southern University Law Center Hall of Fame.[1]
