Hello! I am DachshundLover82, but most of you know me by my former name, Robloxsupersuperhappyface. I have been an editor on Wikipedia since July 17, 2020. I mostly edit on articles relating to tropical cyclones or Texas. I am an active member of WikiProject Tropical Cyclones and was named Member of the Month during December 2020.

Storms I Experienced

Tropical cyclones

Hurricane Ike — stayed in my city while many people left due to the huge size of the storm. Although Ike veered far away from our area, ultimately causing extensive impacts in the Greater Houston Area. Only large surf in my area (too young to remember).
Tropical Storm Hermine (2010) — forgot about this storm.
Tropical Storm Don (2011) — too minor to be remembered.
Tropical Storm Bill (2015) — same as above.
Hurricane Harvey — hit my area at peak intensity, winds reached Category 1-force in my neighborhood. Tree branches were downed, pieces of fence were blown out, and the wind sent debris everywhere. Lost power for a week, Harvey caused $125 Billion in total damages across its lifespan.
Hurricane Hanna (2020) - Tropical storm-force winds in my area, widespread power outages. Fences and trees were once more damaged.

Winter storms

Winter Storm Benji — first time I saw snow in my life. Got to check off another box on my weather—experience list. A day I will never forget.
Winter Storm Uri — snow flurries but very very little real snow. Lots of ice and sleet, slipped on ice in my backyard (:P).

My Goals and Accomplishments

Goals

Make sure the 2021 Pacific typhoon season article is suitably referenced and being updated with every TC advisory as needed.
Finish my draft for TD 16-E of 2015.
Promote Tropical Storm Imelda to GA-class

Accomplishments

On January 11, 2021, an article I had created and extensively updated, Tropical Storm Karen (2019), was promoted to GA status. This was my first GA!
I have currently made over 3,000 edits on Wikipedia as of January 29, 2021.
