Diane Kress (born February 27, 1959) is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. She has spent her career specializing in medical nutrition therapy for overweight/obesity, metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes, and type 2 diabetes. From 2000 to 2012 she had a private practice in Morristown, New Jersey.[1]

She is best known for researching, developing, and authoring The Metabolism Miracle that rose to #1 on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-a-Million, and Borders' bestsellers list. In July 2010, The Metabolism Miracle made The New York Times Bestseller List. Since then, she has published three more books: The Metabolism Miracle Cookbook, The Diabetes Miracle, and The Metabolism Miracle Update. Her books are published in eight languages. In 2013, Diane Kress was named to the top 10 list of RDs by Today's Dietitian magazine.
