Hi Fikku fiq, I see you doing a lot on Kuala Terengganu article. Do you have any plans to improve it to become a good article? If you want, you can see here for the criteria. Here is some example of the newest Malaysian cities articles that have achieving GA status → Kuching, Kota Kinabalu (in case if you want to refer the writing style, content and citation). Cheers! I'm waiting for your further contributions. :) ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 15:00, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Fikku fiq, I believe with just a short look from the article, it can be expand to meet GA status. Don't worried about that, even the Kota Kinabalu article was started from just a few paragraph. The article can be nominated when it has satisfied six criteria such as Neutral (especially for the citation, for example no source from blogspot or other self-publish website), the article should be stable (no edit war etc.), no copyright images and maintenance tags such as ([citation needed, unreliable source, disambiguation needed etc.]). You can look it up here for more information on the criteria. :) ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 12:24, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Some check-up and suggestions..

Hello Fikku fiq, after a short look on the article, I have moved some of the paragraph that was supposedly part of the demography and economy to its respective sections. Can you elaborate more the situation in Kuala Terengganu during the Japanese occupation? Furthermore, may I know did these three paragraph below mentioning that the situation happens in Kuala Terengganu? If not, I think this should be perfectly moved to the History of Terengganu. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 17:35, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Among the earliest references of Terengganu are in Chinese historical sources. A Chinese writer’s note during the Sui dynasty has mentioned about a state named Tan-Tan that sent tributes to China. The state was presumably located somewhere in Terengganu. Tan-Tan sent tributes to Sui dynasty and then to the Tang dynasty after Sui dynasty has collapsed. It ceased to send tributes to China after it came under the dominance of the Srivijaya during the 7th century.

Chinese history books such as Ling-wai-dai-da (嶺外代答) written by Zhou Qufei (周去非) in 1178 and the book Zhufan Zhi (嶺外代答; also romanised as Chu-fanchi) written by Zhao Rugua (趙汝适; also romanised as Chau Ju-Kua) in 1226 mentioned Teng-ya-nu and Teng-ya-nung respectively, as being a dependency of San-fo-ts’i (三佛齊). Both referred to Terengganu as being a vassal state to Srivijaya. After Srivijaya fell during the 13th century, Terengganu came under the influence of Majapahit. In the 15th century, Majapahit was vying with Ayutthaya Kingdom and the nascent Malacca Sultanate for the control of the Malay Peninsula. Malacca Sultanate prevailed and Terengganu then came under its influence. When the Malacca Sultanate fell in 1511 to the Portuguese, the newly established Sultanate of Johor exerted its influence on most of the former territories of the Malacca Sultanate, including Terengganu. Terengganu was briefly under the influence of the Aceh Sultanate during the early 17th century, but Johor managed to exert its influence again on Terengganu in the late 17th century.

After the death of Sultan Daud in 1831, a brief civil war erupted between two claimants to the throne, namely Tengku Mansur and Tengku Omar. Tengku Omar was based at Bukit Puteri while Tengku Mansur was based at Balik Bukit. Tengku Omar was defeated by Tengku Mansur and he fled from Terengganu. Tengku Mansur became the next Sultan as Sultan Mansur II. His son, Sultan Muhammad succeeded him as the next Sultan after his death in 1837. But, in 1839, Tengku Omar returned to Terengganu with his entourage to reclaim the throne. He defeated Sultan Muhammad and forced Sultan Muhammad to flee. Tengku Omar reoccupied his fort at Bukit Puteri and was throned as the next Sultan, Sultan Omar.

Hello again Fikku fiq, thanks for your replied. :) About the images don't worry as there is plenty of free licence images on Flickr (cc-by-2.0, cc-by-sa-2.0), possibly in the nearest time I will try to help you to upload some of it to Wikimedia Commons (mainly for the geography panorama, mosque and the transportation section) (But not at this time since I'm currently facing a slow internet :/)
About most of the paragraphs, okay that's make sense but still there should be some sentence that related to Kuala Terengganu especially on the second paragraph (I give you an example of the Kuching article, at the history section when it told about the Lidah Tanah during the administration of the Sultanate of Brunei), while for the economy section can you expand more?
Thanks. That's all I want to comment. Anyhow, I wish you luck on the GA nomination, any future reviewer will help you more on what improvements could be done to the article. If you have any question during the reviewing process, just leave a message on my talkpage. I will help anything If I can. Cheers! :) ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 12:35, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As I promise earlier, I have added some images from Flickr to the article. After some clean-up, I found some dead link and unreliable source too. I hope you can fix it before any reviewer told for the same issues. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 17:08, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have found the image of road between Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu too but I don't know if it was correctly located in Kuala Terengganu. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 12:53, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the info, perhaps you can take some image for the road as you lived there. :) ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 13:08, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ohh, I forgot to ask, when did Kuala Terengganu was founded? This is important as most reader want to know when it was established. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 10:18, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
For the history part, don't forget there is an archive too if you want to find any old newspapers. ;) Hah, about that don't worry as I'm already fix it. Btw, I'm currently had a vision to see most Malaysian cities here to become a GA. I hope that one day there will be more editors like you in the future who come from other states to improve their cities. I can't do all of this alone as I need to do a research on every city and that (of course) will take a time, just like conducting a research in the university. >< ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 16:09, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have done some more check and fix on the references, please fix the unreliable sources by replacing it with any reliable sources per IRS and fix the Dead links by finding any old archive links about the dead website on archive.org. Anyway, good luck with the nomination by completing the request of the reviewer. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 05:48, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, I hope the reviewer will agree and pass with that. The dead links you can see here with the red colour. You're welcome. (: ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 06:32, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, forget to tell you. You need to reply the reviewer comment there too. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 02:10, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
My bad. Thank you for telling me that. I don't want to be seen as ungrateful for the good article opportunity (which I am grateful). Fikku fiq (talk) 11:52, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, everything right now looks fine to me. For the history section, I suggest you to put some historical picture (especially those in black and white) if you could find some. The citation on the Economy section should be decrease as it would WP:OVERKILL. Other than that, I think there is no problem. ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 13:46, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've merged the some of the citations for Economy. I can't really find old photos of KT though. Been looking everywhere I could, but oh well. Fikku fiq (talk) 15:38, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About the Bukit Bintang station article...

Not to be rude; you were one of the editors for the Bukit Bintang station article, right? Please get to the page's talk page, I'm having a discussion whether the page should be split up into 2; one for the MRT and another for the monorail. In a nutshell though, those 2 stations are separate buildings and not integrated. We need to discuss about splitting the page, and this is quite urgent, considering the Bukit Bintang MRT station just opened 4 days ago and people will definitely look up the Wikipedia, so this makes me worried that people will get confused.

Thinking of creating a format for Malaysian transit/railway station articles

Hey there! First and foremost, I'm sending this message to every Malaysian rapid transit/trains/etc. article editor I can find. Now... As what I've seen, a lot of Malaysian transit/railway station articles seem to be different from each other by format, and the aesthetic, information and the encyclopedic-feeling doesn't feel right on them. So I was thinking if you want to discuss on a format (or editing conventions) for Malaysian transit/railway station articles (especially those in the Klang Valley). Just want to find for suggestions, thanks! Reply here, or hit me up on my talk page if you'd like to. :3c Fazley01 (talk) 11:33, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
