Wajahat Attre (1945–2017) was a Pakistani music director who composed around 3000 songs in his long illustrious career. He composed music for 200 films, among them Mukhra, Chan Varyam, Naukar Woti Da and Ishq Khuda became musical hits. He churned out popular songs like Wagdi Nadi Da Paani, vay Ik Tera Pyar Menu Mileya, anda Teray Layi Reshmi Rumal. He has worked with singers like Noor Jehan, Humaira Channa etc. [1] [2][3]

Career

Wajahat Attre was born in 1945 in Puna, Gujarat, British India in a Gujarati-speaking muslim family. His family migrated to Pakistan followibg partition in 1947. [1]

Death

Attre passed away on 26 May, 2017 at the age of 68. He was suffering from heary diseases.[1]
