- I like what you're doing with Plankalkül. A while ago I started improving it but did not get very far. Keep up the good work! Reyk YO! 17:35, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you! So it's your sentence "The only primitive data type in the Plankalkül is a single bit" that got me thinking "Wow, could it be more low level?" I still not able to understand example there, but I guess at some point article will need to turn from 2d notation to linear aka Plankalkül 2000, because that 2d notation is too hard for my level of LaTeX. :) Also, I want to play chess with the oldest chess program, but I'm not able to find compiler they made in FU Berlin in 2000 or chess sources for it to compile. :) There is a page with some java applet I don't know how to run. ---Benderovec (talk) 22:35, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- I couldn't figure out how to run that applet either. It looks as though it was never finished. As interesting as it would be to play against the oldest chess program, it apparently didn't have promotion and en passant was implemented wrong so it would probably be an unsatisfactory experience.
