Jansen AG is a Swiss company which produces steel and plastic pipes, as well as profiles.[1][2]

Jansen is an independent company based in Oberriet, Switzerland. It was founded in 1923 and today employs around 750 people, 650 of which are working in Switzerland and the other 100 in Dingelstädt, Germany.

In 1996, the group management of Jansen Holding Ltd. decided that a second production site was required. Consequently, a new production building measuring 200 x 40 m in width, as well as a 100 x 54 m warehouse facility, were constructed on a 70,000 m2 site in Thüringen Dingelstädt, Germany, to complement the plant in Oberriet SG. This strategic decision to increase capacity enabled additional objectives to be met: namely, proximity to the principal markets and a location within the European Union. The total plant size in Oberriet SG alone equals up to 120,000 m2.

In 2019, Jansen was awarded the Ruggero Bertani European Geothermal Innovation Award for its borehole heat exchanger for wells that exceed a depth of 300 meters.[3]
