Needs additional information and formatting

The primary source of information, lifted almost verbatim in places, appears to be here: John Pintard Witness to the Revolution There's additional information provided in the other citations I've added but I'm way too ignorant about proper formatting to get this job done by myself. Hopefully now with additional information easily available, others with more skill will contribute to exploring the figure who appears to be the origin of the modern portrayal of Santa Claus.
