Script to define favorite book source

Back in 2005, user Lunchboxhero shared a script to rewrite ISBN links to the URL of one's choice. This can be useful for users who want to be taken directly to a specific library or bookstore upon clicking on an ISBN link, obviating the need to select it manually from the "Book sources" page every time. Unfortunately, the script does not appear to work anymore. Looking at the associated talk page, it looks like this is because it is using deprecated parameters. As I'm not a programmer, I don't know how to fix the script, but perhaps others are willing to take a look? Pablo Stafforini (talk) 13:25, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Sir Paul:. You would do better to ask this question at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) where people with the necessary skills hang out. SpinningSpark 09:26, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the suggestion. I have followed your advice and asked the question there. Pablo (talk) 11:36, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I came across https://librarybooks.uk/ which seems really accurate for searching UK Public Libraries, if anyone agrees, could this be included under United Kingdom Public Libraries if someone has the knowhow to add? Rhagfyr (talk) 17:08, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Added it. Alin2808 (talk) 17:26, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Swiss library networks

The Swiss library network NEBIS is defunct and has been replaced by SLSP with the discovery tool Swisscovery. RERO and Helveticat still exist, but the links are broken. The catalogues can now be found at https://bib.rero.ch/ and https://www.helveticat.ch. CHVK has also been defunct for several years and should be removed. Would it be possible for someone to fix these issues? Fivetonsofflax (talk) 11:30, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Fivetonsofflax: Done as suggested. Alin2808 (talk) 18:39, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, much appreciated, thanks. Fivetonsofflax (talk) 09:43, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Polish library update

Current link for the national library of Poland doesn't work.

Example search link: https://katalogi.bn.org.pl/discovery/search?query=isbn,contains,9788375524154,AND&vid=48OMNIS_NLOP:48OMNIS_NLOP Nux (talk) 13:30, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Nux: It should work now. Alin2808 (talk) 18:45, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alin2808 works, thanks 🙂  Erledigt Nux (talk) 18:52, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

National Library of Australia catalogue update

The National Library of Australia has a new catalogue search string; https://catalogue.nla.gov.au/catalog?search_field=isbn&q=MAGICNUMBER should work, the old one appears not to. 192.102.239.195 (talk) 01:55, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
