Raisa O'Farrill Bolanos

Raisa O'Farrill Bolaños (17 April 1972 – 30 May 2023)^[1] was a Cuban female volleyball player. She won gold medals with the Cuban national volleyball team in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics.^[2]^[3]

O'Farrill also played at the 1994 World Championship in Brazil.^[4] On club level she played with Villa Clara.^[5]

Teaching

After her retirement from volleyball, O'Farill was a professor at the Manuel Fajardo University of Cuban Sports.^[6]

O'Farrill died on 30 May 2023, at the age of 51, after a battle with cancer.^[2]^[3]
